Mission Statement

 

Called in Baptism and rooted in our Catholic faith, we at St. Francis Newman Center Parish of the Diocese of Las Cruces are welcoming and compassionate people.  We strive to be disciples of Christ with a special ministry to the Western New Mexico University community.  The dynamic and diverse nature of our parish invites us to be open to spiritual formation and the values of charity.  Nourished by the Word of God and the Holy Eucharist and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we reach out to all, encouraging active participation in the life, mission and work of the Catholic faith within our families, our parish, our diocese and our world.  (Approved: January 4, 2012)
